The Salin factory has a set of industrial assets of 27 stainless steel and glazed steel reactors with a unit capacity ranging from 150 litres to 3500 litres. This is supplemented by a kilo-lab reactor with a capacity of 10 litres.

Chemical reactions take place under reduced pressure at the site (max: 4 bars) and at a perfectly controlled temperature owing to monofluid heating/cooling systems. The operational temperature range is between -10 °C and +210 °C.

M2i Salin uses filters (from 0.5 m2 to 2.5 m2) and dryers of different capacities which allow closed-system procedures in compliance with ISO 7 standards.

M2i Salin has high vacuum distillation equipment enabling liquid products to be purified and packaged under protection of ISO 7 class laminar air flow.
